What these grades mean on the finger
Graded I, a warm white. In platinum or white gold a careful eye may catch the warmth; in yellow or rose gold it disappears entirely, which is why I colour stones pair so well with warmer metals.
VS1 clarity: clean to the naked eye, with inclusions visible only under the loupe. The sweet spot where the certificate price drops but the face-up view does not.
At 1.03 carats, this emerald carries its weight across the finger rather than into depth, which is how fancy shapes often look larger than a round of the same weight.
