Unique Engagement Rings · Bedfordview, Johannesburg
Unique engagement rings, designed one of a kind.
If the ring is meant to be hers alone, it should not exist in a catalogue. We design one-of-a-kind engagement rings from a blank page in our Bedfordview workshop: an unusual or fancy-colour stone, a setting built around it, and the details that belong only to you. Natural, GIA-certified diamonds cut at Procut DCW, priced on application, with insured delivery anywhere in South Africa.

One of a kind, by design
A unique ring is not a standard setting with a small twist. It is a ring designed for one person, from the stone outward, so that no one else has quite the same thing. That is only possible when the people choosing the diamond and the people building the ring are the same people. We start from a sketch, a reference, a feeling or simply a sense of her, and design with you until the ring is unmistakably hers.
Where uniqueness comes from
- The stone, an unusual shape, an old cut, an unusual ratio, or a fancy colour such as yellow, which makes a ring individual before the setting is even drawn.
- The setting, asymmetry, mixed metals, an unexpected gallery, a bezel where a claw is expected, or a hidden detail only she will know.
- The meaning, an engraving, a birthstone accent, a motif that means something to you both, worked into the design rather than added on.
Fancy colour and unusual stones
Nothing individualises a ring faster than the diamond itself. A fancy yellow centre, a heart or marquise outline, or an old-cut stone with its softer flashes all read as personal and rare. We source and show you GIA-certified options, including fancy colours, and design the setting to make the most of what makes your stone different. If you have an heirloom diamond, that can be the unique heart of the ring.
| Where to be unique | What we make to order |

| Personalisation | Engraving, accent stones, a motif that is yours |
| Metal | 18k white, yellow or rose gold, platinum, or mixed |
| Certification | Natural diamonds, GIA / EGL certified; report supplied |
Pricing is on application: the stone and the complexity of the design drive the figure, and you receive a firm ZAR quote, excl. VAT, before any work begins.

Unique engagement rings: common questions
What makes an engagement ring unique?
Uniqueness comes from three places: the stone, an unusual shape or a fancy colour rather than a standard round; the setting, an asymmetric, mixed-metal or personally detailed design rather than a catalogue mount; and the meaning, details that belong only to you. A truly one-of-a-kind ring is designed from a blank page, not chosen from a tray, which is exactly how we work.
Can I design my own engagement ring?
Yes, that is the heart of what we do. You bring the idea, a sketch, a feeling, a reference image, or just a sense of her, and we design with you, then cut and build it on our own bench. Because the diamonds and the workshop are under one roof, almost anything you can describe can be made, and you see it take shape before you commit.
Can you set a fancy-colour or unusually shaped diamond?
Yes. A fancy yellow, a heart, a marquise, an old cut or an unusual ratio all make a ring instantly individual, and we design the setting around the character of the stone. We will source and show you GIA-certified options, including fancy colours, and build the ring to make the most of whatever makes your diamond different.
How long does a one-of-a-kind ring take to make?
A bespoke ring usually takes a few weeks from agreed design to hand-over, depending on the complexity and on sourcing the right stone. We give you a realistic timeline up front and work to your date; rush commissions are sometimes possible. The design conversation is where the time is best spent, so start early if you can.
Can you make a unique ring if we are not in Johannesburg?
Yes. Clients design one-of-a-kind rings with us from Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Gqeberha and across South Africa. The whole collaboration happens by video and WhatsApp, you approve the design and the stone, and the finished ring arrives insured and overnight nationwide, with certification and a written valuation.
