What these grades mean on the finger
Graded D, this stone sits in the colourless band, the top of the GIA scale. Face-up it reads icy white in any metal, and the difference between it and the grades just below is paper-thin to the naked eye.
SI1 clarity: small inclusions a loupe will find. At this size most SI1 stones are eye-clean, and we confirm that on the bench loupe before you commit.
