What these grades mean on the finger
Graded K, an openly warm stone. The tint is part of its character and the reason for its price; in candlelight and in yellow gold it reads soft and creamy rather than icy.
VS2 clarity: clean to the naked eye, with inclusions visible only under the loupe. The sweet spot where the certificate price drops but the face-up view does not.
At 1.01 carats, this fancy shape carries its weight across the finger rather than into depth, which is how fancy shapes often look larger than a round of the same weight.
Graded by GIA, the laboratory that wrote the 4Cs. The original report travels with the stone and is independently verifiable on GIA Report Check before you pay a cent.
