Is a oval good value right now?
We hold sourced stones to the same standard as the diamonds in our own safe. Measured across the whole certified market we can reach, about 22 in every 100 oval diamonds meets that standard. Ovals are the most requested fancy shape in South Africa and the price reflects that. Only about a fifth meet our value standard, so shop carefully and let us check before you buy.
That is why the search marks stones we would not recommend, and offers you better ones at the same spec. We would rather lose a sale than sell you a stone we would not buy ourselves.
